For Canadians only. Here’s what Wikipedia had to tell me:
Pizza – McDonald’s has also attempted pizza at various times, with an apple-pie-like McPizza and more conventional McDonald’s Pizza. A line of personal sized pizzas were sold in the early 90s. In Alberta, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland & Labrador, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and British Columbia (c. 1992-1997) the pizza originally began as a family sized pizza that was brought out to the table by an employee and placed on a raised rack in the centre of the table. Later it was scaled down to a personal sized pizza when the larger version did not sell well.
I’ve heard from a few Canadians that it was “pretty bomb”. I’m still not sure if I would have ordered pizza from McDonald’s, but having the option to is always nice. Most likely won’t be brought back…ever. Oh fuck the pizza, there are way too many free standing joints with delicious slices. Just bring back the Arch Deluxe!
