HELP!

I quit rockin Nikes oh so long ago. Like seriously a long time ago. However, I like these and I’ve scoured the internet and came up empty fucking handed.  I liked these when they released about a billion years ago but wasn’t feeling them THAT much to throw the loot down. As you can guess, I need these in my life NOW!

If you know of anyone who just so happens to be sitting on deadstock.

R.I.P. Daul Kim

I know this happened yesterday, but  she is one of my favorite  newer models. She will be greatly missed. It really is a tragedy that she was suffering, but I don’t feel bad for her committing suicide. It is a selfish bitch way out.  Say what you want, think what you want. Remember, this is MY blog with MY opinions. Life is such an amazing gift, something we can tailor and make as great as we want it to.

Anyway here is an article I found:

TWENTY-year-old South Korean supermodel Daul Kim has been found hanged in her central Paris apartment.

“The French police have informed us that Korean citizen Kim Daul committed suicide in her apartment,” Korean embassy spokesman Lee Seung Yoo said.

“One of her friends found her body hanging in her apartment.”

“Her family is coming to Paris from Seoul and will be arriving this evening or tomorrow morning,” he added.

Kim’s death had been announced earlier by agencies she worked for, with her Paris representatives saying: “She was a top model and a great friend of all of us at Next.”

The last entry on Thursday on Kim’s popular blog “I Like To Fork Myself” was headlined “Say hi to forever” and had a link to a video of the song I Go Deep by British singer Jim Rivers.
Kim recently took to the catwalk to display clothes form leading designers such as Chanel and Alexander McQueen.

She debuted on the runway for Chanel, Dries Van Noten and Maison Martin Margiela in 2007, and recently appeared in a commercial for Christopher Kane’s Topshop line.

She was also a painter and video filmmaker.

Her agency in South Korea, Esteem, said in a statement: “We express deep condolences to Daul Kim’s family.”

It asked everyone to respect her family’s privacy at this time of mourning.

In a blog entry on October 30 she complained after a modelling stint in Seoul that she was “getting mad, depressed and overworked”.

She was born in Seoul and raised there and in Singapore. She modelled in Asia before making her fashion week debut in Paris two years ago.

There has been a spate high-profile suicides in South Korea over the last year, including that of former president Roh Moo-hyun in May who ended his life after becoming embroiled in a corruption scandal.

South Korea ranked third in terms of suicides per head of population among the 30 Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development member nations in 2007, with 18.7 in every 100,000 people killing themselves.

But the most real chilling fucking thing is that on the 18th, she posted a ‘farewell’ have you on her blog I Like To For Myslef …I’m listening to it now. It is really fucking morbid that I’m listening to it.

Eventually you’re going to get there. It might take a day, it might take a lifetime, but through that persistence, and through that determination and drive, I think there’s definitely a lot of beauty in that. And a lot of power. That’s what I want to tap into.
